The official launch of ilovethisgame2.com and the NBA season are here and we are very excited about both. ILTG2 will not only become the ultimate portal for NBA and basketball media (news, video, images) but will take a new approach to affiliations and partner advertising.
Each affiliate/partner can host their own existing blog/website within the ILTG umbrella. Everything these content producers/distributors do on their simple blogs and youtube profiles can be done more effectively on ILTG2.
ILTG2 will not only provide a lot of exposure for each site owner but they will provide free marketing by submitting the content to target forums, groups, communities as well as digg like sites (digg, ballhype) for them. ILTG2 also had two YouTube channels. One for daily new videos and one for rare retro footage. 09.19.08: RED APPLES SETS UP HURRICANE IKE RESOURCE PAGE ON FACEBOOK
Based out of Houston and evangelists of communication via social networks, we thought it was only fitting that we setup a news and resource page about Hurricane Ike on Facebook. The page pulls RSS feeds from up-to-minute Ike trackers on Twitters and video links from mainly phone captured footage uploaded to YouTube. The news stories and features are from click2houston.com and there's also links to many resources for any and everybody that has been or could be affected by Ike or Hurricanes in general.

08.20.08: RED APPLES GENERATING HIGHER RATINGS FOR ESPN SHOW CITY SLAM
When CitySlam came our way, it was a dunk contest event that for two straight years never generated any buzz before, during, or after the show. For the 2008 event, Red Apples developed a marketing campaign that included a customized social network for the show so the fans and the contestants could interact, YouTube contests to give "amateur filmmakers and video editors a chance to have their work shown on ESPN, and a Facebook/Myspace Widgets that helped each contestant gain support from their fans as well as serve as a poll and countdown to the show's airing.
This year's event has easily become the most anticipated in the history of the show and we are expecting the viewers to be atleast twice as much as last years due to our campaign.
After three days, the site had over 500 registered members and 10K page views - so how do you like them apples?
